Welcome to Class 2! We are a Year 3/4 split class, who believe that through creative, engaging and immersive learning children can reach their full potential and develop a love of learning. Our learning is driven by high quality texts, our ethos and eco-school values. We encourage imagination, independence and critical thinking through our daily learning and enjoy opportunities for cross-curricular learning and being able to apply our understanding to new experiences. Our learning environment highlights the exceptional work that we produce, promotes inclusivity and celebrates the learning process. It also, alongside the outside areas, provide a variety of opportunities for ‘hands-on’ learning, which we utilise at every opportunity!

Other helpful information:

  • Our P.E lessons this half term are on Wednesday afternoons - please make sure all children have a full PE kit ready for our weekly lessons.

  • Reading records are looked at every Monday. Our aim is that every child reads at home at least 3 times a week.

  • Spellings are given out on a Friday and tested on the following Friday.
